MSG Networks wanted to further enhance the relationship with MSG and the NY sports fan. Madison Square Garden recently completed a transformation project that included a full scale renovation., As a result, they needed a site that could match the upgraded experience fans received when visiting the new MSG. Fans of New York City sports teams are as passionate as any fanbase there is so we wanted to give them a site that they could feel proud of and match their passion. Essentially, needed to give them the ultimate place to cheer, argue, share, learn, like, socialize and celebrate.
A year later, we won an Emmy for Interactivity🏆.
We aligned the pregame experience in a modernized way with a new content strategy that focuses on connecting with fans way before the tip off. As users navigated the redesigned site, they were able to consistently view content that aligned with network programming.
Swish! The Gameflow is a secondary screen experience that presented live data like never before. Our Gameflow allowed fans to follow the game through live statistics and video highlights.
Following the successful seasons of the New York Knicks and Rangers, we took initiative to revamp our digital ecosystem. We were inspired by our fans’ passion and wanted a new, concentrated, more bolder look to relive the playoff intensity. We also introduced our new interactive electronic program guide (EPG), letting users know the current schedule for live programing.
